Summer Fellowship for Innovative Journalism

The application deadline is March 1. Applications should be submitted either in hard copy, or electronically to mark.brennen@rochester.edu.
Application Requirements:
- A cover sheet with the applicant's contact information, and when possible, contact information for a potential sponsor.
- The applicant's resume.
- A project proposal in the form of an essay not longer than three pages, which will also serve as a writing sample.
- A proposed timeline, which includes a schedule of funding disbursements.
- A letter of support from a full-time faculty member. This supporting letter may either accompany the application (in a signed, sealed envelope) or may be sent via mail or e-mail to mark.brennen@rochester.edu.
Any published material should mention that the material was produced under the University of Rochester Summer Fellowship for Innovative Journalism, made possible by funding from Bruce Schimmel ‘74.
