Summer Fellowship for
Innovative Journalism
The Summer Fellowship for Innovative Journalism, endowed by Bruce Schimmel ’74, is meant to encourage journalism that is experimental, alternative, avant-garde, investigative, or otherwise unique and groundbreaking in nature.
Fellows generally work under the supervision of a sponsoring organization or a mentor, typically a journalist working in a mainstream publication, alternative press, or other medium of general circulation. Students from all disciplines are invited to apply.
Preference will be given to an undergraduate upperclassman completing his or her sophomore or junior year.
Applications are due by April 7th, winner to be announced by April 30th.
