What We’re Celebrating in ’08:   

  • 160th Anniversary of the First Women’s Rights Convention
  • 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights & Eleanor Roosevelt’s championing of Women’s Human Rights

Conference to include Keynotes, Panels, Plenaries! Lots of student and youth participation! BE there for the Launch of the Women’s Institute for Leadership and Learning, and Recognition of the 10th  Anniversary of the Friends of the Women’s Rights National Historical Park.

What We Need from You:

  1. Plan a PANEL (90 min. session)  Send description of PANEL with abstract & participants.
  2. Showcase STUDENT WORK ON WOMEN’S HUMAN RIGHTS – Activism, Research, Visions
  3. JOIN US on the program! Send $30 and your school’s logo to be a college partner.

Estimated costs for students = $110   (includes registration, hotel room w/4 occupants, 3 meals Oct. 11 and brunch Oct. 12. Buses from Buffalo, Rochester & elsewhere to be arranged @ $15 per student. Free shuttle from hotel to the college site.)

Registration forms coming soon.  Some intern positions are open for college students. Work at the event and get great experience and free registration and hotel. Send letter of interest to the email below.
