At the start of each semester WCSA hosts an Activities Fair cosponsored by Athletics and Recreation. Student groups are invited to showcase their organizations to the undergraduate student body. Registered groups usually have displays, information, or demonstrations at the Fairs. The goal is to celebrate the beginning of each semester, to give students a chance to find out how student led organizations and clubs contribute to the life of the College community, and to provide the organizations an opportunity to recruit new members—especially freshmen.
When student organizations are recruiting new members they will want to collect email addresses so they can be entered into the Campus Club Connection (CCC). Registrartion for both Fairs is through the CCC Form system. Email notices normally go out a month in advance to the organization's executive board.
Getting Involved in a student organization gives students an opportunity to be engaged in the co-curricular life of the college, and to develop leadership skills.
