3:30 pm – Activities Fair
The Fall Activities Fair will be held on Friday September 5th from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm on Dandelion Square (rain location Goergen Athletic Center). Come check out all of the wonderful clubs that the University has to offer. Live demonstrations! Join a club!! Get involved!!!
4:00 pm – UR Invitational Volleyball Tournament
Stop by the Palestra to see the UR Invitational Volleyball Tournament! Games will be at 4 pm and 8 pm.
7:00 pm – Men’s Soccer vs. St. Lawrence University
Check out the Yellowjackets take on the Saints in Fauver Stadium. A perfect occasion to display your Yellowjacket pride!!
10:00 pm – Drive-In Movie on Wilson Quad: She’ The Man
When her brother decides to ditch for a couple weeks in London, Viola heads over to his elite boarding school, disguises herself as him, and proceeds to fall for one of her soccer teammates. Little does she realize she's not the only one with romantic troubles, as she, as he, gets in the middle of a series of intermingled love affairs. Sponsored by UR Cinema Group and Class Councils.
10:30 pm – Coffeehouse featuring Andy Brink and more Talented People
Due to a clerical error, Andy Brink '14 returns to UR for a night of good music, bad jokes, and a series of guest stars that are more talented than he is. Stop by and listen to some songs he wrote and some songs he wishes he wrote, or just come to heckle. Guaranteed fun or your money back! Sponsored by UR Concerts.

1:00 pm – UR Invitational Volleyball Tournament

2:30 pm – 'Feel the Sting' Shirts
Get in line early on Wilson Quad for a favorite tradition of Yellowjacket Weekend! Come get a ‘Feel the Sting’ Shirt that has your class year on it to show both school and class year pride. You can keep this shirt for years to come to remember all the fun that you had this weekend as well as at the University of Rochester! These shirts are for UR undergrads only and ID is required. Sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities and Class Councils.
2:30 pm – Yellowjacket Weekend Carnival
One of the biggest parts of YellowJacket Weekend is the carnival that occurs on Saturday afternoon. This year it'll be in front of Wilson Commons on Wilson Quad. There will be rides from Hammerl Amusements, novelties from PigBelly Entertainment, and food from Nancy's Fried Dough and Abbott's Frozen Custard. Sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities, CAB, UR Concerts, Dining Services, and Blimpie.
2:30 pm – Student Music Showcase
UR Concerts is proud to present the first ever Student Music Showcase, an afternoon featuring a diverse sample of music acts based on the River Campus. Swing by the Wilson Quad anytime from 2:30-6:30, and you'll hear a little bit of everything, from acoustic solo singers to jazz fusion to heavy metal.
4:00 pm – Men’s Soccer vs. Clarkson University
If you like what you saw on Friday, check out the Yellowjackets take on the Golden Knights in Fauver Stadium. Showing your Yellowjacket pride on Yellowjacket Weekend is a must!!
5:00 pm – Sig Ep Luau
Come by Hirst Lounge to get the last taste of summer at Sig Ep’s Luau. It’s a great place to catch up with friends and share a delicious meal. Some food items include Huli Huli Chicken with a Pineapple Glaze, Grilled Pineapple and Coconut Rice, Cumin Tofu with Mango Salsa, Cucumber and Watermelon Salad, and much much more!!! Co-sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities, Dining Services, and Pepsi.
9:00 pm – Comedy Central on Campus featuring Michael Ian Black, Ron Funches and Nick Vatterott
Michael Ian Black is an actor and a comedian who regularly tours the country performing standup. He has been featured on numerous television shows including The State and VH1’s I Love The… series. Black has also held multiple roles in films, both behind and in front of the camera. He directed and co-wrote the comedy films Run Fatboy Run and Wedding Daze, and has appeared in the films This Is 40 and Wet Hot American Summer.
Black has also written several novels, for both adults and children. His memoir You’re Not Doing It Right: Tales of Marriage, Sex and Other Humiliations is currently in development for a television series. Black writes book reviews for The New York Times, and he is working on three upcoming novels.
Ron Funches is a comedian who has performed on TBS’s Conan O’Brien Show and is currently featured on NBC’s new sitcom Undateable. Nick Vaterott has toured with Chicago’s famous Second City comedy troupe and has performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
TICKETS: Tickets are $7 for University of Rochester undergrads (with I.D.), $10 for graduate students, faculty, and staff, and $15 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at the Common Market in Wilson Commons
7:00 pm, 9:30 pm, & 12 am – Fault in Our Stars in Hoyt Auditorium
Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel's other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. Sponsored by UR Cinema Group.
10:00 pm – Fashionably Later
Wilson Commons is hosting a larger than life games night. Come out for giant connect four, karaoke, photo booth, and yummy treats! From 10pm to 1:30am the building will be hopping with inflatable ponies…you don’t want to miss it.

1:00 pm – DKE Stickball Tournament
Come celebrate the end of Yellowjacket weekend with the brothers of the Beta Phi Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon. You are invited to join us for an afternoon of stickball. This is a fraternity tradition that has been enjoyed by our chapter for decades. We will be creating seven man teams and competing to see who is the best. For $3 per person, you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon with good music and stickball. All proceeds will benefit Full Circle Home which is a non-profit that supports the women in soldiers' lives - http://www.fullcirclehome.org/.
