School of Medicine and Dentistry Commencement

The School of Medicine and Dentistry Commencement will be held on Friday, May 18, in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. This ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. for all candidates.

Academic Attire

Academic attire is required for graduates participating in the Commencement ceremony. Candidates can purchase regalia at the Medical Center Bookstore beginning March 23, 2012.

Rehearsal Times

All students should attend the School of Medicine & Dentistry Commencement Rehearsal on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 10 a.m.. in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.

Arrival Times

Candidates must arrive at Eastman Theatre no later than 3 p.m. to allow sufficient time for robing and assembly of processional columns. Candidates will be lined up in alphabetical order according to their degree.

At 3:50 p.m. all candidates are to be lined up in their proper columns, ready to begin the procession.

This policy will be strictly enforced.

Guests may enter through the main entrance of the Eastman Theatre. Tickets are not required for this ceremony.

Parking

Parking is available for this event in the East End Garage on the corner of East and Scio Streets.
