EXHIBITS

Through February 9, Weaving a Legend: Royal Tapestries from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts . This exhibition showcases tapestries woven in Paris between 1611 and 1627 which constitute one of the world's largest and best preserved tapestry sets. Memorial Art Gallery.

Through January 19, Home for the Holidays: Celebrating Art. This exhibition features holiday icons from Christian, Jewish, and African-American traditions. Memorial Art Gallery.

Through February 16, From Form to Design: Louis Kahn's Drawings for the First Unitarian Church of Rochester . Kahn's drawings, on loan from the church, show the design's progression in his mind, from preliminary forms to fully finished renderings. Memorial Art Gallery.

January 14 through March 23, Through the Looking Glass: Wood Engravings by Barry Moser . This exhibition features original artwork of America's foremost wood engraver. It depicts characters of Lewis Carroll including Humpty Dumpty, the White Knight, and the Lion and the Unicorn, all featured in a new edition of this children's classic. Memorial Art Gallery.

Ongoing, A Looking Laboratory. This inaugural installation in the new Dorothy McBride Gill Education Center features interactive displays which demonstrate ways of looking at paintings. Memorial Art Gallery.
