An even larger crowd of almost 700 students and parents is projected for Saturday, October 25.
The students--who, when they apply, will be considered for Corporate Scholarships at the University--were treated to an introduction by Dean of the College William Scott Green, tours of campus, admissions and financial aid office presentations, and an "academic fair" at Rush Rhees Library, which featured faculty representatives of all College departments.
"We had tremendous support for this event--from the faculty, from student volunteers, and from University facilities--for this stellar group of prospective students," Locust says.
