On a tour of Rush Rhees Library earlier this month, Trudy Miller '48 and Dr. Charles Miller '38 visited the building's uppermost viewing area. Across an almost aerial sight of the Eastman Quad, Ms. Miller points to the Medical Center, where Dr. Miller earned his medical degree.

Walking safely

The Blue Light Escort Service is operated by Security in cooperation with the Tiernan Hall Council in the late evening hours during the school year. The escorts provide company to any River Campus, southside residence hall, Goler House, or Medical Center location.

When the Escort Service is unavailable, University Security will provide an escort to and from University locations. Escorts are not available for off campus locations. For safety reasons, all escort volunteers are in constant radio contact with the Security Communications Center.

To request an escort, call x5-3333 or pick up a Blue Light Emergency Phone.
