Re-engineering Rochester sponsored another hefty brainstorming session on March 5. A roomful of employees (above) devoted a morning to discussing what they feel can be done to improve systems or reduce costs. Re-engineering Rochester, announced in February 1996, has a goal of reducing administrative expenditures both within central administration and within the schools and colleges of $6 million annually, to be achieved at the end of five years. |
Two notable publications are now on-line on the University Web:
The Graduate Studies Bulletin, 1996-98, can be reached at http://www.cc.rochester.edu:80/GradBulletin/;
The Faculty Handbook, containing faculty policies and procedures, can be found at http://www.rochester.edu/FacultyHandbook/.
Both publications can also be found via the News and Publications section of the University's home page, along with Currents, the Rochester Review, the Undergraduate Bulletin, and other University publications. While all continue to be available in paper editions, the web versions are, in fact, easy to use and readily accessible.
