RAISE THE ROOF!--Nursing students stand and whoop it up as their school name is called during the undergraduate Commencement Sunday, May 17. More than 1,200 students, some sporting mortarboards with their own words of wisdom, listened as presidential adviser and University professor Duncan Moore encouraged them to apply what they've learned to new areas. Nobel Prize-winning physicist Steven Chu '70 received an honorary degree. Including those who received advanced degrees, this year's crop of graduates totaled 2,564.
