Learn evidence-based health care
A teleconference on evidence-based health care will be held Wednesday, September 16, 1-2:30 p.m., in Whipple Auditorium, Medical Center 2-6424. Viewers can learn about the history of EBHC, how it is practiced by professionals, current resources, and the role of health sciences librarians.The event is made possible by the Medical Library Association and sponsored locally by Miner Library and the Rochester Regional Library Council. Massage therapy at the Medical Center Athletic Club has been discounted 25 percent for StrongCare members. Massages are available between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Membership in the Athletic Club is not required.To schedule an appointment, call the Athletic Club at x5-2437.

Eastman Theatre talk to be held
Eastman Theatre's rich history will be the topic of a talk by Donald Hunsberger, professor of conducting and ensembles at the Eastman School, at the fall luncheon of the University's Women's Club Wednesday, September 23. The luncheon will be held at The Century Club, 566 East Ave.The talk, "Rochester's Queen: The Eastman Theatre at 75," will begin at 11:15 a.m., followed by a social time and lunch at 12:30 p.m. Reservation deadline is September 16. Forum follow-up planned

Party at Carnival '98
The African Caribbean Cultural Club will sponsor Carnival '98, its annual celebration of multiculturalism, on Saturday, September 26. The event, featuring crafts, food, and music, will be held on the Wilson Commons lawn from noon until 6 p.m. and continue from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. in the May Room of Wilson Commons.
