Parking lots to get security cameras

University Parking, Transportation and ID Services and University Security Services have announced that outdoor cameras are being installed in River Campus parking areas. Using these closed-circuit television cameras, security dispatchers will monitor the activities in the parking lots and surrounding areas to provide better security and service to the University community.

The cameras are being placed in the River Lot (3 cameras), Wilson North Lot (2), and the Hill Court Lot (3). Once operational, their merit to other areas of the University will be determined.

Installation of the cameras should be complete by May 15.
