Think cognitive science
Have you ever thought about how the brain works, how it processes speech and vision? What happens when the brain is damaged in an accident or by disease? Why can some people see random-dot stereograms, and others can't?
These are the kinds of questions that cognitive scientists ask, using skills in experimental methods, math, computer programming, and logic. To find out more about this discipline, check the Cognitive Science Program web site, www.cs.rochester.edu/cogsci, or e-mail marty@cs.rochester.edu.
