UnCover Reveal exposes journals' topics
University libraries have now made it possible to discover the highlights of your favorite journals right from your e-mail account. UnCover Reveal is now available at no charge to students, faculty, and staff with current University e-mail accounts (those that end in rochester.edu). Reveal is an e-mail service based on the UnCover database of over 17,000 journal titles.
A site license provided by University libraries allows you to receive tables of contents for up to 50 journal titles as new issues are indexed. You also can set up 25 keyword or name searches that will be matched weekly against all new articles in the database. You'll receive a list of matches or a notice that there's nothing new that week.
To use Reveal, sign up for a profile in UnCover and wait 24 hours for your account to be authorized. Then, go back in to add journal titles and search requests. If you already have an UnCover profile, you can now add Reveal titles and searches at no cost.
Instructions to sign up via the Web or Telnet are available at www.lib.rochester.edu/database/reveal.htm or from your reference librarian.
