UTD announces new phone system schedule

T he University Telecommunications Division has announced the new schedule for the installation of the new telephone system.

On the River Campus, South Campus, Mt. Hope properties, and at the Eastman School, the current schedule calls for the replacement of phone sets beginning in late May and user training starting in early June. The switchover will be complete by early August.

At the Medical Center, the phone system at the new medical research building will be operational by mid-June. In the rest of the Medical Center, user training begins in mid-July; the new phone sets will be installed starting in August; and the system will be fully operational by the end of September.

The new phone system already is operational at Highland Hospital.
