By all accounts, NCUR 99 was a tremendous success! Thanks to all of you whose hard work brought to fruition the months of organizing and planning.

We are especially grateful to the more than 400 faculty, staff, and students who volunteered their time as session moderators, greeters, and excursion guides. Many of our visitors commented that the "people in yellow shirts" were easy to find and extremely helpful.

In addition, we extend our deep appreciation to the staffs of Conference and Events, University Publications, Academic Technology Services, AMES, University Facilities, Security, and the Transportation office for the phenomenal service they provided throughout the conference.

Sunny days for the opening and closing of the conference raised everyone's spirits even higher and let the campus shine. Well done.
