RE: Follow-up employee satisfaction survey
In our ongoing effort to improve the working conditions for all employees, University and Medical Center administration, in collaboration with Human Resources through Harris Interactive, is conducting a follow-up to the initial 1997 employee satisfaction survey. As you know, feedback from the 1997 survey resulted in the University taking action on several major areas of concern identified in the survey, including communications, compensation, and supervisory and management training.
You will be receiving your survey by the end of September. All employees are encouraged to complete the survey as soon as possible. The information you provide will help management to continue to understand what truly matters to employees. The follow-up survey also will be used to assess the effectiveness of initiatives we have already taken to address some of the problem areas identified in the initial survey.
