Sesquicentennial Web site offers facts and funM uch is being planned to commemorate the University's Sesquicentennial year. To help keep everyone up-to-date on all the special events and festivities, the University has created a Sesquicentennial Web site at www.rochester.edu/sesqui/. From the Sesquicentennial home page, visitors can choose from a number of links to get more information about Sesquicentennial Weekend and the University's history.Click on the Sesquicentennial Weekend link and get connected to the latest information about the featured speakers, entertainers, and other events that will take place October 12-15. At the "Celebrate the Past" site, a click of the mouse produces fun and interesting factoids on Rochester's achievements, customs, traditions, campus, student life, people, and athletics. The Sesquicentennial Web site also enables alumni and others to reserve a copy of Beside the Genesee, a specially commissioned pictorial history of the University. Be sure to check out the Web site often to stay current on Sesquicentennial events as they approach. Also, check the University home page for the daily Sesquicentennial tidbit.
