2000 United Way campaign officially kicks off

Last year, the University raised $680,000 for the United Way of Greater Rochester. In turn, over $1,076,000 in United Way funding came back to the University for University-affiliated programs, including the Mt. Hope Family Center, the Primary Mental Health Project, and the Rochester Early Enhancement Program.

The hundreds of programs the United Way of Greater Rochester supports benefit thousands across its seven-county service area. Employees can direct their contributions to specific areas of impact or agencies through the campaign's Donor Choice Program.
