arlier this year, President Thomas Jackson and Provost Charles Phelps issued a mission statement defining the University's goal of becoming an "inclusive community." The mission statement can be viewed in its entirety by clicking on "Our mission statement" at www.rochester.edu/diversity. Also at this Web site are links to University and divisional resources on diversity, and details on achieving diversity among senior staff and faculty.
