The University's Sesquicentennial celebration takes place Oct. 12-15, and the arrival of thousands of alumni, parents, students, faculty, and staff is anticipated. (The events of the weekend can be viewed at www.rochester.edu/sesqui.)

Obviously, the regular work of University departments must go on. If a staff member wishes to attend a Sesquicentennial event during his/her working hours, that staff member must have his/her supervisor's approval. Vacation time should be used for this time away from regular work duties.
