Information Technology Services (ITS) has completed preparation for the printed faculty/staff directory information. Updates to the departmental section have been prepared by the telephone department coordinators and will be sent to the department directory liaisons for final approval based on information found on the proofs.

The morning of Wednesday, October 25, ITS will draw the data from the online files for the printed directory. This is a final call to review and update any directory listings that you would like to include in the printed directory. The departmental section will be based on the proofed departmental information. If you have other questions about the information being prepared for the printed directory, contact ITS/Telecommunications, x5-7041 or x5-7908.

The University Publications Unit coordinates the printing effort. This year's directories follow the same format used with previous directories. The front section contains essential information for University faculty and staff, including mail address information, security and problem reporting information, emergency communications information, an academic calendar, and meeting room and organization information. Again this year Highland Hospital will be presented as a separate section; it is being moved to follow the departmental information section. Telephone feature information also is part of the directory.

Also, please note that student directories deliver the week of November 6. Information is in students' mailboxes.

In addition, Rochester-area white- and yellow-page directories deliver and distribute the week of November 13. Information on distribution and recycling also has been placed in the University's mail distribution system.
