Note Career Center upcoming events
 he Career Center is offering a number of upcoming events that focus on student employment and career counseling:
Seniors, juniors, and Take 5 students are required to attend "Your First Steps to Success" orientations. These events are designed to address issues shared by seniors and juniors; teach new approaches to using Career Office, the Web-driven resume collection, recruiting, job posting, and alumni networking system; and complete registration associated with on- and off-campus recruiting efforts. Letters containing more details will be forthcoming.
Seniors and juniors who are interested in technical and nontechnical employment opportunities must upload their resumes to the Career Office Web site (http://urcareeroffice.admin.rochester.edu/4d.acgi$slogin) and submit printed copies by Friday, October 6. Resumes will be collected according to fields of interest and distributed to prospective employers.
The first of three off-campus recruiting and networking events will be held on Friday, October 27, in New York City. Those students who wish to participate must submit their resumes by Friday, October 6. A networking reception will be held in New York City the evening before the event.
