Student employee nominations sought

The Career Center invites University employers to nominate their outstanding student employees for the 2000-2001 Student Employee of the Year Award.

In addition to a monetary award, the Universitywide winner will have the opportunity to compete at state and regional competitions, sponsored by the National Student Employment Association. The campus winner's name also will be added to the Student Employee of the Year plaque displayed in the Career Center.

All nominees will be recognized and presented with certificates for their contributions to the University.

To be eligible, student employees must:

  • Have been employed on the student payroll by the nominating employer between May 25, 2000, and the present;

  • Be a full-time, matriculated undergraduate during 2000-2001;

  • Be nominated by a faculty or staff supervisor at the University;

  • And be in good academic standing.

To nominate a student employee, submit a nomination to the Career Center on or before January 31.

For more information, including other nomination details, contact Christina Lacey, Student Employment Coordinator, Career Center, 302 Meliora Hall, x5-2138.
