Warner conference looks at technology

Industry experts and a group of local leaders will explore ways for schools to implement technology into more daily classroom activities on Saturday, April 7, at East Rochester High School.

Presented by the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development, the conference "Maximizing Technology in Schools" is geared toward school administrators and those responsible for technology applications in elementary and secondary school systems.

The program opens at 8:10 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m. at the high school.

The deadline for registration is March 30. The program fee is $55, with discounts available for members of sponsoring groups.

Keynote speakers are Norm Silverstein, president and chief operating officer of WXXI, and Susan Rogers, executive vice president of WXXI.
