Student employees honored April 2-8

lizabeth Begy '01, who works as a counselor in the After School Program at the Mt. Hope Family Center, has been named the University's student employee of the year.

The award marks Rochester's celebration of National Student Employment Week, April 2-8.

By winning the campus competition, Begy becomes Rochester's representative in a nationwide competition sponsored by the National Student Employment Association.

Begy was selected from more than 20 nominees in the on-campus contest, sponsored by the Career Center. The week is intended as a way to recognize the efforts of college students who work as employees on their campuses.
