'Human Values' submissions sought

he multidisciplinary Human Values Cluster--which bridges the School of Nursing, the College, and the School of Medicine and Dentistry, and the Division of Medical Humanities of the School of Medicine and Dentistry--is again sponsoring Creative Excellence Awards.

One award will be given to a University graduate student or undergraduate who submits the best creative work--in any medium --dealing with issues of human values in health care.

And, for the first time, a second award will be given to a faculty member who submits the best creative work.

Each winner receives a prize of $200 and an inscribed plaque.

Submission deadline is Friday, May 4. Submissions should be sent to Andrea Ehmann in the Division of Medical Humanities, MED 1-6321, or Carol Root, in Helen Wood Hall 2nd floor, 2-220, in the School of Nursing. They also can be sent by intramural mail to arrive no later than Friday afternoon on May 4, to Madeline Schmitt, Box SON.
