CEIS FUNDING--The Center for Electronic Imaging Systems has been awarded $2.6 million to expand its research and development activities, Governor George Pataki announced April 19 in a visit to the University. Joining Pataki for the announcement were Russell W. Bessette, executive director of the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (left); Thomas LeBlanc, the Robert L. and Mary L. Sproull Dean of the College Faculty; and Jack Doyle, Monroe County executive.
