Now in its 17th year, Music Horizons is an intensive program for advanced high school students who are seriously considering a career in music. In a highly individualized environment, students take music courses and private lessons with members of the School's Community Education Division faculty and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, attend career seminars, and play in small ensembles. The Municipal Youth Band of Rehovot spent July 12 at the Eastman School and attended a variety of courses including music theory, music history, sight-singing, ear training with the Music Horizons students, and a peer-to-peer discussion session. The three-week program ended July 13.
