In BriefUHS offers flu shot clinicsUniversity Health Service is offering two flu shot clinics on campus. The clinics are open to students, staff, faculty, and other members of the University community. The cost is $14. The first clinic is offered on December 4 from 4:30-6 p.m. in Susan B. Anthony Residence Hall, in the hallway near Danforth Dining Center. The second clinic is offered on December 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gowen Room of Wilson Commons. Celebrate honored traditionsThe Friends of the University of Rochester Libraries invite all to attend the annual holiday reading and music performance on Wednesday, December 5, in the Welles-Brown Room in Rush Rhees Library. The event includes a reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by an hour of readings presented by past presidents of the Friends. Dennis Monroe will accompany the readings on classical guitar and Renaissance lute. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call x5-4461. Soccer camp offered Dec. 26-28The University is offering a Holiday Soccer Camp for boys and girls ages 7-14 on December 26-28. Camp Directors Chris Apple, men's soccer coach, and Terry Gurnett, women's soccer coach, will teach individual ball skills, team tactics, and position play. Activities include scrimmages, films, demonstrations, and practice time. Players will be grouped according to age and ability. Get into a health kickTraditional Karate lessons are offered at the MC Athletic Club on Mondays from 6:15-7:30 p.m. and are open both to members and non-members.
