School of Medicine names Guzick dean
avid Guzick has been appointed the ninth dean of the School of Medicine and Dentistry, succeeding Dean Edward Hundert who will become president of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland in August.
Guzick has served as the Henry A. "We're very pleased to have Dr. Guzick join our roster of academic deans," said President Jackson. "With a very distinguished career to date, he also has a keen 'inside understanding' of the medical school's existing and potential strengths, and we look forward to his contributions both to the school and University." Guzick serves as an oral examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was named by Good Housekeeping as one of American's 400 Best Doctors for Women. He has published over 100 articles on a variety of topics in obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, and reproductive endocrinology.
