In BriefCSN calls for donationsThe Community Service Network in conjunction with Facilities is sponsoring a food, clothing, and book drive through May 17 to benefit Foodlink and The Salvation Army. Collection bins are located in residence halls and other designated collection areas. The entire student community is invited to participate. For more information, call x5-5685. Summer hours beginThe River Campus Customer Service Center/ID Office has begun operating on its summer schedule. The hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Camp makes fitness funThe Medical Center Athletic Club's Fitness Fun Camp will kickoff its nine-week summer program on June 24 continuing through August 23. Open to children ages 7-12, the camp teaches new skills, offers group activities in a variety of sports, and includes field trips. The New York state-certified camp is supervised by three experienced counselors and open to all employees. Cost is $130 per week or $30 per day, with a one-time registration fee of $40. The price for all nine weeks is $1,175 with a 10 percent discount for additional children. Hit the linksThe 17th Annual Hackers & Wackers Employee Golf Tournament will be held on Tuesday, August 6, at Shadow Lake Golf and Racquet Club. The cost of the tournament is $65 and includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, and prizes. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Full teams of four players are required. Research participants needed:Common Cold--Volunteers with active cold symptoms are needed for a research study of an investigational medication for the common cold. Volunteers must be seen within 24 hours of the beginning of symptoms. The study requires six visits to the clinic. Volunteers must be otherwise healthy and between the ages of 18-70.
