The Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program at the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center will host a dinner and panel discussion to address issues related to ductal carcinoma in situ, an early and common form of breast cancer that accounts for a quarter of all newly diagnosed cases.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 6, at 5:30 p.m., in the URMC Conference Center's Bill and Joan Ryan Case Method Room 1-9576 and will feature Gretchen Ahrendt, surgical director of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program; Jennifer Griggs, medical director of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Program; Marilyn Ling, radiation oncologist; and Linda Schiffhauer, pathologist.

The cost is $15 per person, which includes dinner. Scholarships are available for eligible registrants. Call Kristin Galvin-Burwick at x5-4797 or e-mail kristin_galvinburwick@urmc. rochester.edu to register.
