Reminder: Double check the Web for 585

Beginning August 16, the Rochester area officially adopted "585" as the new area code, replacing "716." Callers using "716" will hear a recorded message telling them about the new area code, and that message will continue to be heard until spring of 2003.

Faculty and staff who administer University Web sites should review entire sites to ensure that all Rochester-area phone numbers reflect the area code change.
