ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, HOVER!--Frank Mrakovicic '03 guides "Hurricane," the hovercraft he and teammate Ben Sternberg '03 constructed using two leaf blowers, to the finish line during the February 19 hovercraft "drag race" in Wilson Commons. Complete with a 25-foot track and drag-strip style countdown lights, the race put students of Mechanical Design 205, an engineering class taught by Professor Dave Quesnel, to the test as part of National Engineering Week.
