TALL TALES--Award-winning storyteller David Anderson mixes song, legend, and theater in his performance of "Striding Toward Freedom" on March 6 for students of Language and Culture, a class taught by Nancy Forand, assistant professor of anthropology. Anderson says that his stories stem from a "rich tradition of African-American oral art and tell of the struggle for freedom."
