Award honors student employees

reg Briggs '05 and Joe Toscano '05 have both been named as Student Employees of the Year, an award given by the University Career Center. The students, who work for Medical Center Facilities Operations, developed a program to help facilities users take full advantage of software and decrease wait times. The program was so successful that it has been customized for use by the River Campus department.

Briggs and Toscano now will have the opportunity to compete at state and regional competitions, sponsored by the National Student Employment Association.

The first and second runners-up are Jason Keck '03 and Dan Dube '03. Other nominees include Dorothy Bauch '05, Benson Chan '03, Varun Chowdhry '05, Elisa Cocchiarella '03, Rebecca Cornelison '03, Joshua Gifford '03, Jonathan Guist '04, Erika Jimenez '03, Salvatore Mazza '03, Mark O'Hara '04, Erica Pagels '03, Heather Paszkiewicz '05, Alexa Phillips '04, Bryan Rotach '03, Danielle Ruppert '05, and Jason Sanderson '03.
