University Dining Services is introducing several new dining options on the River Campus this summer.

The Meliora Restaurant, located in the Frederick Douglass Building, is offering a new "50s-style" diner and outdoor service. Customers can order items off the grill or choose from a fresh soup and salad bar. Lunch items, in a price range to suit most budgets, are available Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. And for formal dining, call x5-0852 for reservations.

The Java City Cart located at the ITS Center in Rush Rhees Library has a variety of hot and cold beverages, fresh bagels, pastries, snacks, salads, sandwiches, and cookies available for take out. An outdoor dining area is also available. The cart is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the summer.

At Schlegel Hall, the Simon Cart offers a range of breakfast and lunch items, including soups, sandwiches, and pastries as well as Java City coffees. Summer hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
