Employees invited to Benefits Expo

aculty and staff are invited to attend the first annual Benefits Expo 2003 and learn more about many of the services and programs available to University employees. Sponsored by Human Resources, the event kicks off October 21 and continues through October 24.

During this four-day event, employees will have a chance to talk with representatives from insurance carriers, third party administrators, and investment companies under the University's various benefit plans. There also will be information on health and wellness initiatives, not to mention lots of freebies and raffle prizes.

Representatives will be at the Medical Center, River Campus, and Eastman School of Music on select days to answer questions and offer information. Those participating include investment companies TIAA-CREF, T. Rowe Price, Vanguard, and Fidelity; health care plan administrator Aetna; Blue Shield and the University Dental Faculty Group; MetLife Insurance, and others.

There will also be information on the housing incentive programs offered through area banks as well as health and wellness programs such as Project Believe, Health Checkpoint, and the Women's Health Center that are provided through the Medical Center, Strong Health, and Highland Hospital.

• Tuesday, October 21, Medical Center, Arthur Kornberg Building (Atrium), 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Wednesday, October 22, Medical Center, Arthur Kornberg Building (Atrium), 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Thursday, October 23, River Campus, Wilson Commons (May Room), 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Friday, October 24, Eastman School of Music (Promenade), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
