Award-winning poet reads Nov. 18
Keith is the author of an award-winning book and several manuscripts and has published her poems in several journals, including American Letters & Commentary, Denver Quarterly, Colorado Review, Conjunctions, and Volt. Keith's first book, Design (2000), won the 2000 Colorado Prize. Her second manuscript, Dwelling Song, was chosen for the University of Georgia's Contemporary Poetry Series. Keith is a graduate of Bucknell University and the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. She was the 2002-03 Emerging Writer lecturer at Gettysburg College. This year, Keith is a visiting assistant professor in the English department. The Plutzik Series is administered by the Department of English. Past readings have included Pulitzer Prize winners Anthony Hecht, Elizabeth Bishop, John Ashbery, Gwendolyn Brooks, Richard Wilbur, and Galway Kinnell. For more information, call x5-4092.
