ALOHA--While it was chilly outside March 10, it was a tropical paradise inside Wilson Commons, thanks to a collaborative effort between University Dining Services and the Student Activities Office. The "Fun & Sun" celebration offered faculty and staff a mini spring break that included an "island-themed" menu, a slide show of tropical scenes set to the sounds of Jimmy Buffet and others, raffle prizes, and brightly colored leis for "tourists." Above, Kathy Webster, a staff accountant for student activities, serves free pineapple smoothies--complete with cocktail umbrellas--to the lunch crowd.
