ARBOR DAY TOUR--Annie Podkaminer '05 (left) and Andrew David Hall '06, members of the student environmental group Grassroots, take fourth graders from Rochester City School No. 19 on an ecology-focused tour of campus on April 30. The Arbor Day tour offered students a chance to identify trees and plants as well as get a first hand look at campus life, including tours of the Goergen Athletic Center, Wilson Commons, and several classroom buildings. The tour was the culmination of a year-long education outreach program sponsored by Grassroots. (See related story).
