Get ready for HRMS!

The Office of Human Resources is in the midst of a major upgrade to the Human Resources Management System (HRMS), to be completed in late June for implementation on July 6.

"It is crucial that all staff and faculty realize there are changes coming on July 6," says Chuck Murphy, associate vice president for human resources. "While no one is affected by all the changes, it is safe to say that everyone will be affected by at least one of the changes."

Among other features, the new system will allow faculty and staff to access their payroll information online. (Note: A NetID is necessary in order to access such information. To register for one, visit www.rochester.edu/netid.)

Training sessions for all employees on the "self-service" aspects of the new system are available throughout May and June. Training sessions for supervisors and for those submitting time and labor information are scheduled throughout June, July, and August. For a complete schedule of sessions, visit the HRMS site, www.rochester.edu/hrms. Send questions to hr.project@rochester.edu; a hotline will also be available beginning July 6: ASK-URHR (x5-8747).

To read the latest "Upgrade Update" from Murphy, updates from HRMS Manager Tim Eldred, and the May 7 issue of the HRMS newsletter, visit www.rochester.edu/hrms.
