Simon hosts educators' conference
On Monday evening at 6:30, Jana Matthews, founder of Boulder Quantum Ventures in Boulder, Colorado, and former associate with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, will deliver the keynote address on "New Trends and Challenges in Teaching Entrepreneurship." Speakers, panel discussions, and workshops are scheduled throughout Tuesday in Gleason and Schlegel Halls. John Jaquette, director of the Entrepreneur- ship and Personal Enterprise Program at Cornell University, will discuss "University-wide Entrepreneurship Education at Cornell," and luncheon speaker Paul Magelli, interim executive director of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership Development at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, will examine "Entrepreneurial Education as an Academic Discipline." The conference concludes with remarks from Simon School Dean Mark Zupan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
