Looking for a job? Log on to HRMS

With the upgrade to a state-of-the-art Human Resource Management System (HRMS) scheduled to take place July 6, Currents will no longer post transfer and promotion opportunities beginning with the Tuesday, July 6, issue. Instead, all employees can access the job list when they log on to their online self-service page.

"We are excited about this new technology," says Kathy Miner, employment manager. "This self-service feature not only allows employees to view positions but also allows them to submit their resumes and check the status of a position online."

Faculty and staff can access the Web-based system from any computer, including those at work, home, and other locations such as the library. In addition, kiosks will be installed at various locations on University campuses to accommodate those who do not have access to a computer.

HRMS will go live July 6, and to log on to the system, employees need to activate their NetIDs. To activate a NetID and learn more about the HRMS upgrade, visit www.rochester.edu/hrms.
