Purchasing agreement announced
The University spends $400 million per year on supplies, $288 million of which is related to its health care divisions. "MedAssets was selected as a key business partner because of its ability to work with our needs and provide a customized supply chain program that is applicable to our entire institution and ultimately extends to all of our nonmedical purchases," says Phillip Profeta, corporate director of purchasing for the University. "MedAssets' technology and flexibility enable it to support our locally established contracts as part of a customized supply contract catalog."
