Employees invited to Benefits Expo '04
"More than 1,500 employees attended last year's event, and we hope for an even larger turnout this year," says Joan Kalsbeck, benefits manager. "The Expo is the perfect opportunity for faculty and staff to ask questions and gather information." During this three-day event, employees will have a chance to talk with representatives from carriers, third-party administrators, and investment companies under the University's various benefit plans. There also will be information on health and wellness initiatives, not to mention lots of freebies and raffle prizes. Representatives will be on site at the Medical Center and on the River Campus on select days to answer questions and offer information. Those participating include retirement companies TIAA-CREF, T. Rowe Price, Vanguard, and Fidelity; health care plan and FSA administrator Aetna; Blue Shield and the University Dental Faculty Group; MetLife Insurance, and others. There also will be information on the housing incentive programs offered through area banks as well as health and wellness programs provided through the Medical Center and Strong Health such as the Employee Assistance Program, Health Checkpoint, and the Women's Health Center through Highland Hospital. Listed below are dates, times, and locations:
