A buzzing good time
tart your year off with Yellowjacket Weekend September 1012. The weekend kicks off with the College's Convocation at noon on Friday, with the Activities Fair immediately following on Dandelion Square. The fair is an opportunity to check out the more than 150 registered student organizations, along with music, giveaways, and demonstrations. The evening wraps up with the Capitol Steps, a political comedy troupe from Washington, D.C., at Strong Auditorium.
On Saturday, game-day festivities include vendors, games, food, and Celtic band Enter the Haggis for a spirit-raising kickoff to the athletic season, starting with home soccer games and a football game against crosstown rival St. John Fisher College at 7 p.m. After cheering the Yellowjackets on to victory, wrap up the evening with a special University night at Jillian's, complete with bowling, dancing, food, and virtual reality games.
