HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU--Musical director and conductor David Harman led the University Symphony Orchestra in a gala performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 on February 24 in the Eastman Theatre. The concert kicked off the orchestra's year-long celebration of its 50th anniversary. A blend of University students and community musicians from the greater Rochester area, the 100-member ensemble was joined by four soloists students from the Eastman School, along with the University Choir and Chamber Singers and the College Concert Choir and Chamber Singers from Nazareth College.
